Digital Qualitative Analysis with Open Source Software (QDA MinerLite)

QDA MinerLite is a free open source data-analysis tool designed for researchers working with text-based information. QDA MinerLite allows you to collect, organize, and analyze the various connections between documents and other textual based information. The introductory workshop will be an overview on the basics of using and understanding QDA MinerLite for your future research. The introductory course will cover the following topics:

  • General overview of coding and content analysis.
  • Introduction to the interface.
  • Exploration of source analysis.
  • Tools for coding content.
  • Text searching and queries for content analysis
