Understanding census information from different countries can be challenging. Join Joann Donatiello and Bobray Bordelon for a guided tour of Princeton University Library’s international census resources. Joann will provide an overview of international censuses and discuss how to use our library catalog and the Ivy Plus Libraries Confederation National Statistical Offices and Central Banks Archive to locate statistics at a sub-national level. Bobray will discuss microdata holdings, how to extract and analyze data from related datasets including IPUMS, and conceptual aspects of the data collection. This webinar is designed for entering graduate students, third and fourth year undergraduates interested in population research topics, and scholars in all disciplines who may require statistics about other countries for their research. The 20-minute presentation segment of the webinar will be recorded for sharing on the library website. Following the presentation, participants are encouraged to ask questions relating to individual interests.
