Creating a Digital Exhibit: Introduction to Collection Builder

This workshop follows our Digital Exhibition survey from the fall to provide a hands on experience with one platform. Collection Builder is an open-source framework for creating digital collection and exhibit websites with only a spreadsheet and images. Digital storytellers, librarians, and researchers have embraced the platform because of its range of visualizations, its versatility, and its sustainability. The platform also facilitates greater knowledge of digital tools—such as metadata, static websites, and GitHub—that can then be repurposed to contribute to other digital projects,. This workshop (and platform) is for beginners and experts. (While not a requirement, attendees will benefit from also attending our Introduction to GitHub workshop held earlier this semester.)
