SFPUL Tour of the Digital Imaging and Conservation Lab

Join the Student Friends of the Princeton University Library as we tour the Digital Imaging and Conservation Lab!

Lunch at a local Princeton restaurant following the showcase is included. A separate communication will be sent to registrants to confirm details.

Embark on a tour of our digital imaging lab led by Roel Muñoz, the lab manager. Discover our cutting-edge technology, including the exclusive selenography system - the only one in the US - offering detailed topographical insights. Experience our global map workstation, powered by the Selene system, alongside GIS software, copy stands, and high-resolution cameras with 100-150 megapixels. Witness our specialized arts and crafts solutions for delicate materials, book systems for bound items, and BC100 cameras expertly digitizing manuscripts. Be amazed by our large-scale system, capturing vast materials in single shots. Join us for a factual and enlightening journey through the world of digital imaging.

Due to limited capacity, this event will only be open to students and members of the university. Registration will be required. Attendees should meet in Firestone Library lobby.
