Join the Student Friends in visiting the Preservation and Conservation Department in Firestone Library to learn about all the mending and repairing of papers, manuscripts, and more!

We'll meet Preventive Conservator Eli Boyne and other staff members to hear how they make sure our collections are safely stored and treated to ensure their longevity for many more years. From temperature and humidity to pest control and cleaning, we'll get an inside look at all the work put into stabilizing our collections.

After the event, we have an optional lunch in town to continue the conversation with conservators and preservationists to ask more questions!
