Open Access, Public Access: Reviewing Princeton and Federal Access Policies

The research publishing landscape is changing rapidly. While not everyone needs to be an expert, knowing the basics goes a long way to ensure Princeton authors comply with policy requirements. This session will serve as a review for staff on the basics of open access, navigating new federal requirements, and how to coach your users in the right direction. We’ll cover agency policies, choosing open licenses, and the fundamentals of author agreements.

All Princeton staff are welcome to attend. Library selectors and other staff who work directly with faculty and affiliated researchers especially encouraged. This event will be hybrid, meeting both in-person at The Commons and online via Zoom.
