Friends of PUL: Behind-The-Scenes Tour of Princeton University Library

Back by popular demand! On Wednesday, February 25, join the Friends for a members-only tour of some of the important but unseen work of PUL at Firestone Library. Take a behind-the-scenes look at two key areas of the library’s traditional and modern services: digitization and preservation and conservation.

We will visit the Digital Studio with Roel Muñoz, Library Digital Imaging Manager, and Kimberly Leaman, Library IT Project Strategist, where you will see both traditional and advanced digital imaging processes for our collections. We will also tour the Preservation and Conservation department with Eli Boyne, Acting Head of Preservation and Mick LeTourneaux, Rare Books Conservator, and learn about the important work they do to maintain our treasured collections.

You will also have an opportunity to view some recent acquisitions made possible by the Friends in Special Collections.

A reception will follow the tour.

Date: Wednesday, February 25, 2026
Time: 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Location: Firestone Library
