Supervised Image Classification using QGIS
The Semi-Automatic Classification Plugin for QGIS has many tools to download satellite images, and to classify satellite images and air photos into land use and land cover categories. This session will work with Landsat images of New Jersey to conduct a supervised land use/land cover classification. Students will use QGIS on classroom Windows computers.
