The workshops are hands-on and intended for beginners. No previous knowledge of data analysis and/or the software is required. Each session will cover the following topics for either Stata or R (RStudio): data transfer, data preparation, descriptive statistics, introduction to data visualization, introduction to linear regression. All sessions are stand-alone covering the same material. Hardware/software prerequisites: By the time the session starts, students must install or have access to Stata or R/RStudio.
