How to Create and Collect Geographic Data using QGIS

In this class students will learn how to collect geographic data from Google maps and Google Earth, how to add GPS data to GIS software, and how to georeference a scanned map.  Students will need to install Google Earth and QGIS on their own computers prior to the session.  QGIS may be downloaded from www.qgis.org.  Students should install the Long Term Release (LTR) version 3.10.x.
